Justin Bieber, Canadian music artist has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which has rendered his right side of his face completely paralyzed.

Justin Bieber has expressed his optimism for recovery from a facial paralysis condition, claiming that Jesus has given him serenity.

Late Friday, the 28-year-old Canadian pop sensation revealed on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare ailment.

It has left him completely paralyzed on the right side of his face, he stated, and would force him to postpone his next tour dates.

He posted on Instagram again on Tuesday, this time with the following message:

“Wanted to share a little bit of how I’ve been feelin’.

“Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me.

“I’m reminded he knows all of me.

“He knows the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about, and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms.

“This perspective has given me peace during this horrific storm that I’m facing.

“I know this storm will pass but, in the meantime, Jesus is with me.”

What is Ramsay Hunt Syndrome?

According to the NHS, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by a virus in the facial nerve, which causes blisters in the ears and on the roof of the mouth, as well as facial paralysis.

Antiviral medication administered within 72 hours after onset of symptoms improves recovery chances, with 70% of those treated fully recovering.

If the patient does not receive prompt care, this percentage lowers to barely 50%.

Steroids, antiviral medicine, and face rehabilitation can all be used to treat the illness.

According to a 2001 study published in the Journal Of Neurology, Neurosurgery, And Psychiatry, 75 percent of patients treated during the first three days made a full recovery, whereas just 30% of individuals treated after seven days did.

Justin Biebers fans and family are all praying for the pop star to make a speedy recovery.
