Danny Chaucer`s Flying Saucer by Christopher Pete | Book Review

Danny Chaucer’s Flying Saucer by Christopher Pete

I was given a copy of Danny Chaucers Flying saucer by the author for a review and thought that i will be able to do a good job with the review after taking into account the book from a child’s point of view since this is a book aimed at the much younger audiences.

I read this book to my 10 year old nephew and he enjoyed it immensely.I myself found the characters extremely hilarious and and the pace in which the story unfolded immediately grabs your attention. The story is captivating and enchanting. The mystery and suspense accompanied by the innocence of the strong minded characters in the story makes this book a great read which can be enjoyed by both adults and kids alike.Good writing style from Christopher Pete, looking forward to more of his work.

Shards of Hope by Nalini Singh | Book Review

Shards of Hope (Psy/Changeling) by Nalini Singh

Aden and Zaira are impossible to resist and their romance is one that will make you melt. It’s clear from the start that Aden and Zaira love one another, but sometimes love just isn’t enough. Zaira’s powers are lethal and because of the way she was tortured as a child, she feels like she’s permanently broken inside. She fears that by letting Aden in, the dark and twisted part of her will overwhelm everything, making her a very real danger to others.

This book is a treat especially for fans of the series because there are so many significant cameos by favorite characters. Aden is an awesome hero and his caring nature makes it difficult to not fall in love with him. Zaira is the tormented one here. Her past is horrific and she cannot imagine that she can possibly have a happy ending. While Aden and Zaira are trying to forge a relationship having had no examples of what a healthy relationship should look like, Aden and Zaira are both trying to keep things stable.

Shards of Hope is a wonderful addition to the Psy/Changeling series. I loved the main couple, there were exciting and sweet moments, and a new villain to keep things interesting for the books to come.
